Job Details: A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantially motivated, experienced and skilled RMN to work for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. This service is an award winning neuro-rehabilitation service situated in Bristol, with excellent facilities and an established reputation in the delivery of specialised rehabilitation services for adolescents and adults with traumatic or acquired brain injury including patients with challenging behaviour. This is an exciting time to join the Centre as they have recently expanded their bed capacity and service. The Nurse Manager is a key role in the Centre's senior Leadership Team and offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, motivated Senior Nurse to lead and further develop our committed Nursing Team, working alongside the Centre Manager and Deputy Nurse Managers.


Person Specification: The post holder will have responsibility for the continual improvement in the quality of the nursing service and commitment to high standards of nursing care. You will provide clinical leadership and be an advocate for best nursing practice, and will be committed to patient engagement and the compliance agenda.


We are looking for:



  • Level 1 registered nurse (RN) who is able to demonstrate management and leadership skills, Experience of working at Ward management level

  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise within an acute hospital setting - a neuroscience or rehabilitation environment would be a benefit but is not essential

  • Ability to make a positive difference, implement change, and advance the professional nursing care in the unit - through personal and team contributions.

  • Confident in managing a large nursing staff group and delivering the CQC and NHS England compliance regulations.

  • Caring and compassionate with the ability to work effectively in a medically led inter-disciplinary team.
