Our client has a locum job vacancy for a recovery practitioner to work in Norfolk. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £16-18 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties include:
- Working with people who are abstinent or reducing their use of substances and working around motivation, risks, relapse prevention and harm minimisation
- Providing employment support, guidance and advice to individuals and groups
- Assessing the needs of clients
- Developing individual action plans
- Planning and delivering group work sessions to coach service users and volunteers
- Managing complex and difficult situations
Requirements:
All applicants must have at least 2 years recent experience working directly with substance misuse service users.
