Care Assistant – 3 year old child

Advantage Healthcare requires a Care Assistant to support a young child with complex care needs in the Nottingham area.

£8.25 - £13.50

The child you will be caring for:

We have been entrusted with the care of a 3 year old boy who lives at home with his family and suffers from Epilepsy and a range of other complex care requirements. This young child has care requirements around his airway, mobility and seizure management. We are looking for Care Assistants who can work on a fixed rota, undertaking:

• Medication administration


• Ventilation management


• Play therapy


• Tracheostomy management


• Epilepsy management

You will have experience of supporting young children in the community who suffer with complex care needs. Although client specific training will be provided it is desirable that applicants have a knowledge of Epilepsy, tracheostomy care and CPAP ventilation.
