Registered Nurse − Days
Oakcroft House Nursing Home in West Byfleet, Surrey
New Pay Rate from £13.00 per hour
We are passionate about elderly care and want to work with Nurses who share our vision for improving the care in this sector.
About the role
•You will be responsible for the highest standards of care and clinical excellence
•Leading a team, you'll develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans, ensuring the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents are met
•Delivering hands on nursing
•Safe administration of drugs
•Maintaining accurate care records
•Complying to policies, procedures and guidelines of the company and governing bodies
•Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will really get to know our residents and their families, promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect
•You will motivate, inspire and mentor your team, delivering teaching sessions and guiding the professional development of junior colleagues
•You will have a warm and friendly manner and spend time developing relationships with our residents and relatives to understand their care requirements and the individuals wants and needs
Who we're looking for
You will have a genuine passion for nursing the elderly. You may already have experience working within elderly care or may have worked in a community nursing setting. You will have the drive to really make a positive difference to people's lives and understand the importance of doing things right first time. Naturally, you will be a Level 1 Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN Number.

Oakcroft House is situated in a delightful residential area within walking distance of the thriving village of West Byfleet and only three and a half miles from Woking
Oakcroft House offers several different types of care that depend on the needs of each resident. The home offers long-term, nursing care, respite, day care, convalescent care and post-operative care. Additionally, Oakcroft House cares for young physically disabled people and for those with Parkinson's disease or who have experienced a brain injury
