RESPITE COORDINATOR
UNIT 21, STOCKTON BUSINESS CENTRE, STOCKTON-ON-TEES, CLEVELAND
£10.54 PER HOUR
32.5 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6.5 HOURS PER DAY
This is an exciting position to provide general management of a respite sitting service for our carers that provide a service for those living in the community to enable them to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
With responsibility for monitoring the day-to-day support needs of carers, you will ensure the delivery of all aspects of support management functions. This will include working within the Supporting People framework to ensure support plans and associated records are completed as well as liaising with other agencies as appropriate.
Previous experience of undertaking a similar role is required
Playing a key part in maintaining our clients independence, you will provide a support service including recruitment, development and maintaining of records, staff training and supervision and ensuring the team deliver the targets to enable them to succeed in their roles. Liaison with other agencies and and facilitating meetings while effectively managing the team workload is required. Your duties will also include assessing the needs and producing support plans to help the team achieve their goals. The post holder will work closely within a wider team, ensuring effective service delivery to clients.
Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
