Health Care Assistant – Mental Health

Health Care Assistant- Mental Health Precedo healthcare are currently recruiting for experienced Healthcare Assistants across West Yorkshire. The role involves supporting adults with mental health issues within supported accommodation, residential care or in their own home. Following person centred support plans, duties include promoting independence, assisting with daily tasks and basic living skills, prompting medication and assisting with personal care where appropriate. This role will also include daily management of activities with the service user to promote their social skills. Managing challenging behaviour, you will need to be confident with managing conflict and use of de-escalation techniques. Hours are flexible and we will aim to get you the hours that you require to fit around your availability. This role is a specialist role and it is essential that you have 6months paid UK experience within the healthcare sector within the last 12-18months. Mandatory training is provided free of charge. Any successful applicants are required to undertake an enhanced CRB (DBS) payable by the applicant.
