WEEKEND CARE AND SUPPORT WORKER

GOODWIN COURT EXTRA CARE, 52 CHURCH HILL ROAD, EAST BARNET, LONDON

£7.48 TO £8.10 PER HOUR (DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS)

15 HOURS PER WEEK - TO BE WORKED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS

We are looking for a Weekend Care and Support Worker to help ensure that residents receive the right level of care to meet their day-to-day needs. You will establish positive relationships with residents and staff, promote safe working practices throughout the scheme, provide personal care, and keep residents' flats and communal areas clean and tidy. You will also provide support for shopping, banking and escorting to hospital appointments and outings.

With previous experience of working in a care environment and providing person centered care, you will ideally be qualified or willing to work towards your NVQ / QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Goodwin Court is situated opposite East Barnet's ancient Oakhill Park with its beautiful nature reserve and bowling green. The development provides 63 self-contained one and two bedroom flats with on-site services and facilities. Click here for further information about the scheme
