Position: Staff Nurse
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Part Time and Full Time hours available
Job Details: This friendly, independent nursing home is located in Sittingbourne, accessible from Gillingham, Maidstone, Faversham, Sheerness and other surrounding areas. For non-car drivers, the home is accessible both via the train and bus services. The home caters for elderly frail patients and they have a specialist memory lane unit for elderly residents with dementia. The home has a warm and welcoming environment and is very well maintained. The home has a very caring team who provide wide variety of services, specifically designed to cater for the needs of people with a wide range of learning disabilities. The service enjoys an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high and staff turnover is minimal.
Person Specification: The Home Manager is looking for a newly qualified or experienced nurse with a strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services that they deliver. In the case of newly qualified nurses, the home offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. The applicant must have a positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference. The applicant must be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent industry knowledge. The applicant must show leadership qualities and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care. Applicants must be qualified General / Adult Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) and must hold a valid PIN. All applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
