Situated in the village of Chandlers Ford, just south of Winchester, Chandlers Ford Care Home is a purpose built 45 bedded care home offering Nursing care. A company founded on the principles of accountability, involvement and partnership, HC-One is looking to appoint an experienced Home Manager to join them on their exciting journey to provide the kindest possible care. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award, in addition to relevant experience working in a similar position within the care sector, preferably caring for elderly Residents. A Nursing qualification would also be an advantage. You will have managerial responsibility for all aspects of the home including, quality of care, effective and timely reporting, and finance, whilst effectively delivering clinical excellence and leadership in a busy care home environment. With a kind, caring and calm approach, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be commercially aware along with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and key external stakeholders. HC-One realises the importance of recruiting and retaining a high calibre of staff and has invested in a bespoke learning and development programme to support professional and personal development.
