The Care Supervisor role is a critical role in the business and potential Care Supervisor candidates should be caring and warm but also passionate about ensuring high quality care is delivered to our customers in the comfort and security of their own home. What does the Care Supervisor role involve? The Care Supervisor will assist the Care Manager in the development and supervision of the care team ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to all customers in the area. The Care Supervisor will also be responsible for preparing and implementing customer care plans and reviews. More specifically, the Care Supervisor role includes;

  • Visiting potential customers to set up care package including risk assessments and other professional responsibilities

  • Introducing new staff and managing probation periods & feeding back information to Care Manager on performance of all staff

  • Quality checks and reviews

  • Monthly spot checks and supervisions on Care Workers

  • Carrying out customer assessments prior to commencement of care services.

  • Attending customer's first call to introduce the care worker.

  • Attending customer reviews in the absence of the care manager

  • Liaising closely with the coordinator, care manager, customers, care workers and external agencies

  • Assisting in the implementation of any necessary changes to ensure a quality service is maintained

  • Ensuring rigorous adherence to all Bluebird Care systems.

  • Taking on-call duties as part of a team on a rota basis.


What are we looking for from our Care Supervisor?

  • A proactive attitude and a passion to deliver high quality care.

  • Strong people management skills and ideally previous Supervisory/Management experience

  • Good reporting skills both verbal and written

  • The ability to write care and support plans

  • NVQ/QCF L3 or equivalent

Our client has a locum job vacancy for a microbiology biomedical scientist to work in Jersey. This vacancy has an initial 4 month contract starting on the 12th January 2015 and the pay rate for this role is £30 per hour (limited company worker).

Search Consultancy is looking to recruit a Registered Nurse, RGN or RMN Qualified, on behalf of a nursing, dementia and residential home in Preston, Lancashire.

The Home is split into 4 units, 2 units for elderly nursing care, one unit for dementia care and one unit for residential care.

Set within beautiful gardens, you will be working in a modern and purpose built nursing home with an excellent reputation for care.


We are looking for an RGN or RMN Qualified Nurse for a full time, permanent position. You will ideally have experience working in a similar setting and have excellent clinical skills.

There is a contract of 33 hours available and also a contract of 44 hours per week depending on preference.

You can work full time night shifts, or if preferred, a mixture of days and nights on a rotation.




The rate of pay is at a competitive £14 per hour. This equates to an annual salary of up to £32,000.

All nurses receive double time on the Christmas Bank Holidays and time and a half on any other bank holidays.
