Food Services Assistant – Weekends Only

This is a part time role - 20 hours per week, consisting of two 10 hour days on Saturdays and Sundays.




About the role




  • You will really get to know our residents and their preferences − you will promote choice, dignity and respect




  • Ensuring mealtimes run smoothly, some of your key duties will include taking menu choices and serving food and drink in a friendly and warm manner




  • You will prepare dining rooms to Silver Service standard and ensure condiments are replenished




  • You will also be responsible for providing additional Hosting services, such as seating our residents in the dining room and helping them move to the lounge after mealtimes.




Who we're looking for
As someone with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and waiting-on experience, you understand the importance of high standards. Confident, enthusiastic and with great communication skills, you will enjoy being a team player but will also be happy working on your own, using your initiative.

A 32 bedded home, Clare House provides nursing care, convalescence, respite and palliative care. It also offers specialist care for those with Parkinson's disease.
