Salary: Circa £38,000
Description: Our client, one of the leading independent hospitals in the North-West, are currently recruiting for a Senior Ward Sister.
Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the care of mainly surgical patients on a busy ward whilst managing a team of people. The wide range of clinical procedures provided by our client means that you will be exposed to a diverse range of nursing specialisms such as: orthopaedic, paediatric and bariatric surgery.
As a Senior Sister, you will be responsible for managing and co coordinating the shift. In these instances, you will be required to carry the cardiac arrest bleep for the hospital (ALS training will be provided if required).
Person Specification: You must be a qualified Registered Nurse. ALS and management qualifications would also be desirable. Also candidates must have demonstrable experience of managing a surgical ward at Sister level. The successful applicant should have a proven track record of problem solving with viable solutions.
