Search Consultancy are currently looking to recruit a Registered Nurse on behalf of a brand new, 5 star nursing and residential village in Warrington, Cheshire.
The community village is due to open mid August 2014, and brings the very latest in care and facilities to elderly residents in the heart of Warrington. The village offers self-contained apartments for independent living and is a £multi-million, stunning example of how advanced design and very high standards of care can provide a new quality of life for older people. Our Client caters for elderly service users with general nursing needs and dementia.
We are looking for an RGN or RMN Qualified Nurse to work full time night shifts. We have two roles available on nights, a part time 24 hours per week and a 36 hour role. The shifts are 12 hours, 8pm till 8am.
Experience working with the elderly is preferred, although Newly Qualified Nurses are welcome to apply.
The village will be opening mid August and will take around 6 to 9 months until it is full to capacity at 70 beds. This is a great opportunity for nurses to be eased in gently to a new role with only a few residents to care for initially.
Duties will include medication rounds, catheter care, peg feeds and other aspects of general nursing care.
Our Client offers a full company induction and a development plan for any clinical skills which you may want to update, such as venepuncture, catheterisation and peg feeds.
The salary is at a competitive rate of £12.40 per hour, rising to £12.78ph after the probationary period. Nurses will receive paid breaks and a paid 10 minute handover when their shift has ended. We are looking for a Nurse who would be confident delegating jobs to the support team who will be working closely with you to ensure high standards of care.
