Our client has a locum job vacancy for a Probation Service Officer to work in Hertfordshire. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £17-19 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties:
- Managing medium and lower risk offenders who are subject to a community penalty or released on licence from prison
- Preparing and reviewing sentence plans
- Engaging and motivating offenders to make lifestyle changes designed to reduce offending and taking decisions relating to the effective enforcement of sentences
Requirements:
All applicants must have recent experience working within probation as well as experience of using OASys and Delius systems. Experience of working with offenders who are homeless and have a history of drug misuse is desirable.
