About the Role
The BUPA Cromwell hospital is a large private hospital with several in-house ENT consultants. Our audiology department offers a wide range of audiological diagnostic tests for Adults and Paediatrics. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic audiologist for regular bank work, which will mainly involve diagnostic paediatric testing. The applicant should possess a BSc (Hons) in audiology or an equivalent qualification. The applicant should be able to offer flexible working hours as some work will be in evenings.
Audiology clinical work will entail carrying out routine paediatric tests using Play/Performance Audiometry, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry and Tympanometry. Depending on experience the successful applicant may also carry out more specialist testing including Otoacoustic emissions, Auditory Brain Stem Response testing and Vestibular assessment.

About the Department
Our Audiology department is a small team of 2 Audiologists, 2 Audiology Consultants and 1 administrative staff. The Audiologists work closely with ENT consultants and GPs. The Audiology department carries out a variety of hearing and balance tests as well as offering hearing aids and vestibular rehabilitation to patients.
