Sanctuary Social Care has a locum job vacancy in Cambridge for a Social Worker to work within a children in need team. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties:
- Undertaking child protection enquiries and pre-birth assessments
- Attending court and giving evidence when required
- Chairing children in need meetings
- Liaising closely with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the young people's needs
Requirements:
All applicants must have a degree within social work and be HCPC registered. You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
