CARE ASSISTANT

ORCHARD HOUSE DAY CENTRE, 191 HIGH STREET, SAWSTON, CAMBRIDGE

£7.18 TO £7.48 PER HOUR (DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS)

18 HOURS PER WEEK - 10AM TO 4PM, MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY

Working as a Care Assistant in our Day Centre you will ensure that residents receive the right level of care to meet their day-to-day needs. With a person centered approach, you will establish positive relationships with residents and staff, provide personal care and keep communal areas clean and tidy.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to resident's lives. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as we will support you to work towards your NVQ / QCF level 2 Health & Social Care (or similar). Just as important to us are the personal qualities you can bring to the role such as a supporting and nurturing nature and passion for helping others and enhancing their well being.

Located in the village of Sawston, seven miles south of Cambridge and registered for 35 places, Orchard House is a purpose built Residential Home for older people and those living with dementia.
