Senior Practitioner – Fostering



Pay rate is £36 - £38 p/h Ltd/ Umbrella Company 3 month contract initially - We are looking for a full time experienced Senior Practitioner within Fostering. They must have extensive experience within fostering, post approval, support and supervision. This role will involve managing and supervising 6 social workers. Candidates MUST have previous experience in managing a team of social workers. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 22nd April and Wednesday 23rd April. The team holds all the approved short term foster carers and some long term foster carers. The post holder will be expected to hold a caseload of approximately 15 households. The post holder will provide all the support and supervision for those placements, which includes attending all meetings (PEP's, LAC reviews, professionals meetings etc) and completing annual performance reviews. Requirements: You must be a Qualified Social Worker with Senior Practitioner experience You must be HCPC registered You must have supervisory/ management experience You must have strong fostering experience You must be able to meet deadlines and possess good time management skills You must be able to work deadlines and be able to work in a pressurised, fast paced environment You must also have excellent communication skills You must be willing to undergo or have undergone an enhanced DBS check You must be a car driver For further information please speak to Katy Cunnion on 01785 256605.
