Residential Deputy Manager - Elderly Residential Home - Southampton, Hampshire - £25,000 per annum You will be a Residential Deputy Manager with a passion for working with elderly people with dementia. This position in an Residential Home in the Southampton, Hampshire is suited to a current Deputy Manager who believes in a person centred care approach and prides themselves on the high standard of care they deliver. My client have a number of services across the South Region ranging from Residential to Elderly Nursing Homes and are looking to expand their services over the next few years, making this a really exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager who is interested in progression and development in their career. This particular Elderly Residential Home in the Southampton, Hampshire, is in beautiful surroundings and offers a residential and nursing service to elderly people, some with dementia. This Residential Home is fully compliant however the ideal candidate will currently be working as a Deputy Manager in a Residential Home where they have had to assist in leading a team to develop a home making this a role for someone who is looking for a challenge. As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for: - Delivering the highest standards of care with dignity and respect - Developing, review and update care plans - Complying with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - Ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff - Providing supervision for the health care staff - Participating in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit - Supervising and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required - Ensuring all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places - Running the home in the absence of the home manager As a Deputy Manager, you will have: - Experience as a Deputy Manager in a similar setting (Residential Home) - Experience of working with elderly people with dementia To apply for this exciting opportunity please call Lauren on 0161 234 9793 or e-mail your CV to l.iredale@liquidpersonnel.com
