Care Assistant needed to support a young gentleman with complex care needs in Nottingham

Advantage Healthcare has been entrusted with the care of a 24 year old gentleman who lives at home with his Mother. Our client suffers with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, as well as Scolliosis and Gastric Reflux. Our client's Mother plays an active role in his care, however requires additional assistance from Cares for around 5 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.

We are recruiting for Care Assistants to support our client on a part time basis. You will work within this close family unit, to ensure that our client receives the care he deserves. You will have previous experience of providing complex care, and will be required to undertake:

• Personal care


• Use of hoists for transfers


• Continence care


• Suctioning


• Emptying of gastrostomy


• Seizure monitoring

You will have the desire to make a difference to the lives of others, and be able to offer some flexibility with regards to work hours. Clinical references are required to illustrate recent work experience.
