TEAM LEADER

ORCHARD HOUSE, 191 HIGH STREET, SAWSTON, CAMBRIDGE

£9.41 PER HOUR, 42 HOURS PER WEEK - TO BE WORKED 12 HOUR SHIFTS CONSISTING OF 8AM - 8PM AND INCLUDING ALTERNATE WEEKENDS

In this varied role, the Team Leader will ensure that residents receive the right level of care to meet their day to day needs. Your duties will include establishing positive relationships with residents and staff, promoting safe working practices, providing personal care and keeping residents' rooms and communal areas clean and tidy. You will also supervise a team of Care Assistants.

With broad experience of working in a care environment, you should ideally be qualified to NVQ/ QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and share our passion for providing a first class service. You must be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise your workload and have exceptional organisational and literacy skills. Experience of staff supervision is also required.

Occasional travel is a requirement of the role for training purposes and assessments, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable.

Located in the village of Sawston, seven miles south of Cambridge and registered for 35 places, Orchard House is a purpose built Residential Home for older people and those living with Dementia.
