Competency Assessment Nurse

Competency Assessment Nurse required to support with training and assessments within the community

£15.00 - £25.00 per hour

We currently have a position available for a Competency Assessment Nurse who has experience working with ventilated children, along with other complex needs.

We are looking to expand our team of Healthcare professionals, who support us in the delivery of complex care to a number of families in the Derbyshire and Nottingham area, specifically with regards to clinical assessments and reviews. This will also include training and mentoring highly skilled Care Assistants to enable them, with clear protocols to undertake clinical tasks. There is an element of flexibility within the role and it may appeal to Children’s Nurses, who already work part time and are looking for more hours in a diverse and interesting setting.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Competency Assessment Nurse to provide support to our care teams, with initial practical training and on-going clinical supervision. You will have the ability and desire to make a difference to the lives of children living in the community with complex health needs, by providing your expert knowledge and care.

You will need to have a valid NMC Pin Number and access to your own car, along with the willingness to travel throughout the local area. Clinical references will also be required to show your skills and experience.
