Our client has a locum job vacancy for a non medical prescriber to work in South East London. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £30-35 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties include:
- Chairing and participating in clinical team meetings to discuss complicated cases in an MDT formulate care plans for these cases
- Carrying out needle exchange clinic duties
- Taking in referrals from different sources
- Advising clients on health promotion issues such as nutrition, smoking, hospitals, inpatient detox clinics
Requirements:
All applicants must be a qualified nurse (RMN/RGN), be registered on the NMC and have a valid, up to date pin. All applicants must have at least 2 years recent experience working as a NMP. A basic independent and supplementary qualification is also needed.
