We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care and interested in advancing in their career as a Nurse Practitioner by getting involved in the managerial side of this GP Surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to put their own stamp on the role as part of a Senior Management Team, as well as lead a team of Nurses. You should have experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and be an independent Nurse Prescriber. In addition, you should have previous experience or training in a managerial/ leadership position. Ideally we are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to work at least 30 hours per week, up to full time hours. However, there is a little bit of flexibility in this regard for the right NP. The successful Nurse Practitioner would receive a competitive band 8 salary (dependent on experience), as well as an NHS Pension. Annual leave allowance would be up to 6 weeks, plus bank holidays, depending on length of service. Study leave will also be allocated on top of this. You would be joining a large, busy GP Practice and would be part of a devoted clinical team consisting of 7 Nurses and Practitioners, 9 General Practitioners and 2 Health Care Assistants.
