Youth Worker

We are looking for Youth Workers, preferrably with a JNC qualification for interim roles based in the South Central area. The successful candidates must have recent experience in working with young people in a full time role and will preferrably hold a JNC recognised qualification in Youth Work. The post holder must have transport and will have an excellent, engaging telephone manner and communication skills and will be prepared to commit to working evenings and weekends as and when required. The post holder will preferrably be qualified and have youth work experience within a variety of settings and must know young people and how to engage young people. Requirements: You will ideally have a JNC Qualification in Youth Work You must have substantial experience in delivering youth work within a variety of settings in a full time role. You must be able to engage well with young people You must have an engaging telephone manner and excellent communication skills You must have good listening skills. You must be prepared to work evenings and weekends when required You must be able to work deadlines and be able to work in a pressurised, fast paced environment You must be willing to undergo or have undergone an enhanced DBS check You must be a car driver with your own transport and business insurance
