Description: Our client is a provider of a domiciliary care service enabling the very best live in care for adults and children with complex health needs and physical disabilities, including high level spinal cord injury, and progressive and neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, and Muscular Dystrophy.
They employ a team of Nurses and Therapists, providing the very best nursing care to patients in the community in their home environment. They are now seeking a Care Service Manager to manage the team, care packages and to train staff.
The role is home based, with a 37.5 hour week, and you will manage your own time, diary and caseload of patients. The caseload will be assigned to you depending on how far you wish to travel within your local community. Travel to Head Office at about every 6 weeks will be required, as will the occasional overnight stay for training, etc.
Person Spec: You will be qualified as a Registered General Nurse, with a valid NMC pin. A proven management background is desirable with ventilated and tracheotomy experience helping you stand out, although training can be provided. It is essential that you are a car driver/owner.
Benefits: The salary for the position is negotiable dependent upon experience and benefits include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), a bonus scheme, mileage and other work related expenses. One week’s training and development induction is also offered.
