Gentleman who has suffered an Acquired Brain Injury requires a Live In Care Assistant to support with daily needs.
Advantage Healthcare has been entrusted with the care of a 33 year old gentleman who, as the result of a life changing road traffic incident, has a severe acquired brain injury. He has been living in the community with the help of our dedicated healthcare team since April of this year.
Our client has a PEG for feeds and medication and is non verbal in his communication. He has a catheter in situ and requires bowel management via manual bowel evacuation. Our client also requires monitoring for any seizure activity.
An opportunity has arisen for a Live In Care Assistant who can support our client on a 2:1 ratio. You will work alongside a Nurse ensuring that our client's personal care needs are met, and ensuring his comfort throughout the night with regular position changes.
Due to the location of the role, it is essential that applicants have access to their own transport and are willing to travel throughout the local area.
