DEPUTY MANAGER (RGN/RMN) DEPUTY MANAGER (RGN/RMN) Elderly Nursing Home â“ Bradford West Yorkshire â“ FULL TIME - £30,000 per annum My client is currently looking for a DEPUTY MANAGER (RGN/RMN) to work in one of their Nursing Homes based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. My client specialises in General Nursing and Dementia care for the elderly and offers residents a very kind, warm, safe and comfortable living environment. This role is ideally suited to candidates with significant nursing experience, people who have worked in a senior nursing position for a minimum of 3 years plus or current Deputy Managers looking for a new challenge with long term career opportunities. The ideal candidate must be passionate about providing only the best care to elderly residents, be a current Deputy Manager, have 3 years plus experience working in a senior nursing position and meet the following criteria: â¢Be a qualified RGN/RMN and have a valid NMC pin number â¢Be able to manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager â¢Act as clinical lead within the home â¢Possess strong clinical skills and be up to date with current practices â¢Be able to manage all registered nurses, delegate available resources effectively and implement training/induction programs for all care staff â¢Be able to ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the home at all times â¢Must have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards â¢Work with the Home Manager in improving the quality rating of the home set out by the CQC â¢Be able to follow up all enquiries regarding private beds within the home â¢Must have experience at either Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse level within a nursing home for a minimum of 3 years plus â¢To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards â¢Be able to offer satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and references upon successful application â¢Demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate other staff members â¢Have excellent clinical skills and supervisory experience â¢Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal â¢Have previous experience providing nursing care in an elderly or dementia setting â¢Be committed and dedicated to the role as well as working in a professional and caring manner at all times Package: â¢Full Time and Day shifts â¢Â£30,000 per annum â¢Additional ongoing training available â¢Career development to train toward NVQ Levelâ™s 4 & 5 (if required) â¢Career opportunities to progress within the company â¢Holiday entitlement and Pension Scheme As well as the above package my client is fully supportive of all members of staff, offers excellent rates of pay (which are negotiable depending on experience) and excellent career progression if desirable. *Senior Nurses wanting to progress may be considered for this role but need to have a minimum of 3 years plus experience working in a senior role If you are interested in working for this excellent company please click apply nowâ¦!
