Community Substance Misuse Nurse - Berkshire Our client has job vacancies for a Community Substance Misuse Nurse to work in Berkshire. This vacancy has an initial 3-6 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £22-25 per hour (limited company worker). Duties: - Carrying out screening and referral assessments. - Developing, implementing and reviewing care plans for individuals. - Raising awareness about substances, their use and effects. - Contributing to assessing the act upon risk of danger, harm and abuse. - Supplying and exchanging injecting equipment for individuals. - Dispensing medicines and products. - Supervising methadone consumption. Requirements: All applicants must be a fully Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) and have a valid NMC Pin. You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role. You must have a strong background of experience and knowledge in substance misuse settings.
