Home Manager Home Manager (RGN/RMN) Home Manager (RGN/RMN) Elderly Nursing Home – Nottingham – FULL TIME - £40,000 PER ANNUM My client is currently looking for a Home Manager (RGN/RMN) to work in one of their Nursing Homes based in Nottingham. My client specialises in GENERAL NURSING & DEMENTIA care for the elderly and offers residents a very kind, warm, safe and comfortable living environment. My client is a much respected care provider, fully supportive and listens to the needs and requirements of their Home Manager. In return my client requires a committed and confident individual who is conscientious, dynamic and pro-active to efficiently lead and manage their home on a day to day and long term basis. This role is ideally suited to current Home Managers looing for a new challenge in a fresh environment or a current Deputy Manager with at least 3 years plus experience working in that position. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria: •Be a qualified RGN/RMN and have a valid NMC pin number •Be able to manage all members of staff including liaising with internal or external agencies •Be able to potentially be on call if the home requires the Managers attention •Support the Deputy Manager if and when required •Implement training/induction programs for all care staff •Ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the home at all times •Be able to quality management and audit with the clinical and monetary departments of the home •Must have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards •Improve the quality rating of the home set out by the CQC •Be able to follow up all enquiries regarding private beds within the home •To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards •Be able to offer satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and references upon successful application •Must have experience at either Home Manager or Deputy Manager level within a nursing home for a minimum of 3 years plus •Demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate other staff members •Have excellent clinical skills and supervisory experience •Have excellent communication, marketing, business and interpersonal skills •Have previous experience providing nursing care in an elderly or dementia setting •Be committed and dedicated to the role as well as working in a professional and caring manner at all times Package: •Full Time Hours •£40,000 PER ANNUM •Company Benefits •Discretionary Company Bonuses •Additional ongoing training available •Career development to train toward NVQ Level’s 4 & 5 (if required) •Career opportunities to progress within the company •Holiday entitlement and Pension Scheme As well as the above package my client is fully supporting and will reward the successful candidate ensuring their own professional development and qualifications remain a priority. *Deputy Managers wanting to progress may be considered for this role but need to have a minimum of 3 years plus experience working in a Deputy Manager role If you are interested in working for this excellent company please click apply now…!
