Sleep Lab Technician

Our client operates a state of the art hospital in the western area of Saudi Arabia, and we have been asked to identify suitably qualified and experienced Sleep Lab Technicians.Your role will be to perform Polysomnography tests, perform scoring under supervision of the Sleep Physician and operate all related equipment 1. Schedules patients for polysomnography tests. 2. Obtain a medical history of patient and summarize relevant data and prepare patients for testing 3. Ensure a proper environment for testing 4. Assist the physician with invasive diagnostic procedures. 5. Coordinate patient testing with Nursing Services as required. 6. Take remedial action and notify the physician. 7. Carry out patient assessment, and respiratory equipment setup and operation 8. Have a working knowledge of the physiological and behavioural aberrations associated with sleep/arousal patholory; 9. Be familiar with all instrumentation used in a sleep laboratory and have a command of the sleep-induced changesin the physiolory of various body systems including, but not limited to, the neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and respiratory systems In order to apply for this role, you will have one of the following BSC in Respiratory Therapy, EEG, Cardiac Technology or Nursing (Far East), with 3 years experience in a sleep lab or Diploma (3Yrs) in Respiratory, EEG Cardiac Technology or Nursing, with 3 years experience in a sleep lab or Diploma (2 years) in Respiratory Therapy, EEG, Cardiac Technology or Nursing, with 4 years in a sleep lab
