White Recruitment is currently looking for a Staff Nurse (RMN or RGN) to work within the elderly nursing home environment providing nursing care for the elderly in a 44 bedded nursing home. This home has built up a strong reputation for its quality approach to the challenges of dementia care, maintaining an interior where individuals feel respected and have access to skilled professionals. A pleasant and cheerful environment is also available as a day care and respite service, with all care provision personalised whether for short or long-term purposes. Looking to make the most of innovative technology where possible, the refurbished bedrooms all have movement sensors, as well as nurse call systems to make sure carers are easily contacted. Job Description: *Full-Time hours available on day duty *To provide a high standard of nursing care and to meet the needs of residents based on an assessment of their care needs in consultation with residents and their relatives. *To assist with re-assessment of the residents’ needs, and re-evaluation of care – adapting and prioritising the planned care appropriately. *Delegation and supervision of duties to care staff. *Communication with outside Agencies and Medical Practitioners. *Ordering of drugs and medical supplies and the safe disposal of unwanted drugs, in accordance with accepted procedures.
