Our client in Devon has a locum job vacancy for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurseto work with older adults. This job vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £24-26 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties:
- Attending weekly OPCMHT clinical meetings
- Providing the team with relevant information in relation to caseload and to feedback on new assessments
- Supervising and monitoring the therapeutic effects and side-effects of prescribed medication providing the client with clear advice and information
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with in-patient facilities regarding admission and discharge of clients
- Facilitating carers' assessments
- Providing the appropriate care plan to meet identified needs
Requirements:
All applicants must be a qualified RMN, be registered with the NMC and have a valid, up to date pin. You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within mental health.
