Social Worker – Children and Families

Children and Families - Social Worker - Lothian An experienced Social Worker is required to join a stable children and families team in the Lothian region. Due to the nature of this role, our client requires someone who can make an instant impact, so you must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role in order to be considered. Duties of the role will include: - Court Reports - Working with Public Law Outline (PLO) - Core Assessments - Child protection meetings - Case conferences - Attending LAC Reviews - Assessment of need and risk - Direct service provision - Work closely with colleagues in other services and agencies - Undertake joint investigations and interviews - Receiving referrals - Participating in the duty rota for Children & Families referrals - Care plan reviews, planning meetings and case conferences as required - Maintain case records - Supervision Benefits of the role: - Stable and well-managed team - Competitive pay rates - Diverse geographic area You MUST be: - A qualified social worker (BA / MA in Social Work / DipSW or equivalent) - Registered as a social worker with the SSSC - A member of the PVG Scheme for Regulated Work with Children.
