Band 6 Crisis and Recovery Community Psychiatric Nurse



Our client in Manchester has a locum job vacancy for a Band 6 Crisis and Recovery Community Psychiatric Nurse. This job vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £24-27 per hour (limited company worker).



Duties:

- Conducting comprehensive assessment in the A&E department, community, police stations and inpatient hospitals

- Taking responsibility for gate keeping all hospital admissions, facilitating early discharge from hospital, bed management of hospital admissions and providing seven-day follow-up for inpatients on discharge

- Managing a small caseload as a key worker or crisis worker providing specialist input

- Demonstrating a high standard of record keeping and documentation

- Auditing the waiting times in the A&E department and accounting for breaches in four hour waiting times



Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be a registered mental health nurse (part 3 or 13) and have a valid, up to date NMC pin. In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience of working within a mental health. At least 1 years recent post qualifying experience working within a community setting.
