Our client in Devon has a locum job vacancy for a Band 7 Ward Managerto work within acute services. This job vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28-34 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties:
- Being responsible via ward staff for the completion of all documentation, planning of care, provision of care, for all unit inpatients
- Overseeing the assessment and treatment of all inpatients and ensuring their individual goals and outcomes are formally met
- Ensuring compliance with unit Admission and Discharge Policies
- Maintaining and developing the community role of the ward/unit particularly in respect of after-care of discharged patients
- Ensuring that dignity for patients is maintained at all times
- Attending case conferences/review meetings with other members of the disciplinary team to review patients' conditions and their progress in the programme of care and rehabilitation
Requirements:
All applicants must be a qualified RMN, be registered with the NMC and have a valid, up to date pin. You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
