Care Assistant

Care Assistant with experience of supporting children needed in Carlisle.

£8 - £10 per hour. 12 hour day & night shifts. Up to 40 hours per week.

Advantage Healthcare has been entrusted with the care of a young baby boy with complex health needs. We require a Care Assistant to support this child in his own home and in the community. You will be required to undertake:

• Personal care


• Gastrostomy feeding


• Tracheostomy care


• Medication administration


• Oral suctioning


• Physiotherapy routines

Due to limited public transport links in the area it is desirable that applicants have access to their own transport. You will be supported by a Lead Nurse for the duration of the care package. Bespoke training can be provided, however it is essential that you are familiar with working with children with long-term or life limiting illnesses.
