My client is looking for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) who has experience of working with patients in a peri-operative environment to take the next step in their career and become a Ward Sister. My client are large private hospital group with a strong track record of supporting staff development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse (RGN) to take up a ward sister position in a company who pride themselves on investing in their staff to ensure their patients receive the highest standard of care. You will work to provide the highest standards of client care and to perform the competencies of a trained registered nurse (RGN). As a Ward Sister (RGN) you will be responsible for / have: - Organising and structuring work - Coordinating the theatre department - Motivating team members - Dealing with challenges in a positive manner - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience of change management As a registered nurse (RGN) you must hold the following: - Registered Nurse Diploma or Degree - Mentorship in Professional Practice qualification preferred - Previous peri operative experience in at least one speciality - Experience of teaching and mentoring students and peers - Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred You need be able to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment which often presents challenges. You must have a proven record of being able to work as an independent practitioner as well as leading a team.
