Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber - Devon Our client has a job vacancy for a Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber to work in Devon. This vacancy is Ad hoc and the pay rate for this role is £37 per hour (limited company worker). Duties: - Taking responsibility for the delivery and monitoring of high standards of nursing care to patients. - Assessing, diagnosing and implementing complex packages of care. - Planning and prescribing intervention ensuring both physical and mental health and social needs are assessed. - Initiating specialist treatment and signing for controlled drug treatments. - Ensuring safe community opiate, alcohol and benzodiazepine detoxification and harm minimisation. Requirements: All applicants must be a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber and have at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working as a Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber. You must be comfortable and capable of prescribing controlled drugs for prescribing controlled drugs for substance misuse service users.
