Social Worker – Fostering

Social Worker - Fostering Our client has a job vacancy for a Social Worker to work within a Fostering Team based in Bexley. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is negotiable (limited company worker). Requirements: Have you got a social work degree or equivalent? Are you HCPC registered? Do you have at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working within a similar role? Duties: - You will be supervising foster care placements. - You will be providing emotional and practical support to foster carers. - You will be participating in duty rota. - You will be indentifying suitable placements through the referral management system. - You will be attending and contributing to foster carers' annual household reviews. - You will be liaising with local authorities with respect to the progress of Looked After Children's placements.
